First Quarter

Revelation 1:8

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, "Let Us make human beings in Our image, to be like Us.." So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.

Isaiah 59:1-2

Listen! The LORD’s  arm is not too weak to save you, nor is His ear too deaf to hear you call. It's your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore.

1 John 4:9-10

God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Second Quarter

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Third Quarter

Galatians 4:4-5

But when the right time came, God sent His Son born of a woman subject to the law.  God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children.

1 Corinthians 10:13 

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

I Peter 1:23

For you have been born again.  Your new life did not come from your earthly parents because the life they gave you will end in death.  But this new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal living word of God.

Fourth Quarter

Ephesians 2:8

God saved you by His special favor when you believed.  And you can’t take credit for this—it is a gift from God.

Now learn a lesson from the fig tree.  When its buds become tender and its leaves begin to sprout, you know without being told that summer is near.  Just so, when you see these events I’ve described beginning to happen, you can be sure that His return is very near, right at the door.
